Gym last night

Wow, it is really hard trying to practice piano when you've got a rip and can't stretch properly with your right hand to the 9th interval. Eowtch.

I love being sore. When you wake up the next morning and your body doesn't want to move because it's sore in places you wouldn't have thought of and muscles you never even knew you had. Today I had that: every muscle in my body didn't want to move, it just wanted to stay as still as possible in bed. I was kind of waiting for the aching to seep out of my body...my ankles, my legs, my butt, my arms, my back...ahhh, so refreshing though!

I went for a run yesterday, which turned into a walk after my legs decided they didn't want to be connected to my lungs (just a really dead feeling in them)...2 hours of wandering and swinging on swings and enjoying the sunshine. That was great :D

Gym training, pretty ok.
I've FINALLY fixed my flics, and I know what I've been doing wrong. I've been pushing with my legs far too early, so that there is no energy left when I leave the floor. I did 25 on tramp and they were great (yay, because I used to hate doing these on tramp) - they're travelling enough, and there's a natural upwards and backwards rebound off them. So that's good - I've got to keep on practicing them (have to tumble at least 3xflics at comp).
Front tumbling is not going well...just can't front sault step out properly :( I can't seem to overrotate, even though front saults are easy for me. Did a little bit more front sault work for beam, but I haven't been keen to do them on beam again...it really killed my feet the first time.

Bars...
Well my muscles were kind of dead, so I didn't do much, but out of the 10 'kips' I did, 7 of them were so close - so that's good. I want to maintain a consistancy, that even if I'm not making it (and I'm thisclose, I need a few more degrees of pull), I'm still getting to the same point and practicing the right techniques and developing the right muscles.
Did a few actual clear hip circles, ha. They're fun.

And we actually did some strength! I made my friend do some...I promised her only 10 of every gut combo...(so 10 x 10), and a bit of leg work.
